Originally built in the early 1930s as a student union through funds raised by alumni, the Charles McKenny building now houses various administrative offices, student services, and classrooms on the campus of Eastern Michigan University. Construction began in 1930 and the building was dedicated in 1931. Abstract
The Michigan State Normal College Stereograph collection is composed of stereographic cards that were distributed to Ypsilanti area high schools in order to illustrate the MSNC campus, facilities, and student life. Although none of the stereographs is dated, a short letter from MSNC President Charles McKenny was included with each set, which would date the collection to approx. 1912-1933.
