The Office of the President correspondence records are composed of correspondence and related materials from the Michigan State Normal College/Eastern Michigan University Office of the President. In particular, the records include the correspondence of presidents Charles McKenny, John Munson, James Brickley, and John Porter, from approximately 1912 through 1988.

The materials in the President's Executive Board records, 1913-1985, are arranged chronologically and are titled with the name used during the time period. A mix of correspondence and meeting minutes, the bulk of the collection are the approved minutes of meetings held with the University President and his advisors: Vice President for Instruction, Vice President for Student Affairs, etc.

The University Presidents slide collectioncontains a single slide of each former president listed in the collection. The slides are arranged in chronological order according to when each person served as president of the University.
