The Student Center at Eastern Michigan University was dedicated in 2006 and serves as a gathering place for students. The Student Center records have been divided into three series: Planning, Dedication and Virtual EMS. The Planning and Dedication series includes materials related to the planning, construction, building dedication, such as programs, schedules and clippings. The Virtual EMS series includes the Event Management Schedules from 2006 to 2007. Also included in the series are materials related to the September 2004 groundbreaking and the Student Art Gallery and several memorabilia items relating to the building dedication and opening.
