The Residence Hall Association records contain materials such as clippings, meeting minutes, news releases, flyers, newsletters, resolutions, goals, and constitutions belonging to the Residence Hall Association at Eastern Michigan University from 1967 to 2013.

The Residence Hall Association records have been divided into two series: Administration and Communication. There are also two objects in the collection, a scrapbook and promotional items.

The Administration series includes materials relevant to the founding, governance, and activities of the Residence Hall Association. It includes constitutions (original and revised), resolutions, correspondence, executive board goals, as well as a subseries of meeting minutes, which includes general Residence Hall Association meetings, Executive meetings, and the President's Assembly meetings.

The Communication series includes materials published and distributed by the Residence Hall Association. Included in the series are newsletters, flyers, a published handbook "Code for Coeds," news releases, and a subseries of newspaper clippings from 1967 to 2013.
