The collection of Division of Academic Affairs records contains reports, newspaper clippings, event programs, and budget reports of the Division of Academic Affairs at Eastern Michigan University. Records span from 1980 until 2011. The collection is arranged into eight series: Administrative Files, Annual Reports, Budget and Operations, Event Programs, Policies and Procedures, Press, Promotional Materials, and Special Reports.

The Administrative Files series includes general files, historical survey, faculty resource directory, and university organizational chart. Content in the Annual Reports series includes program reviews from 2001-2003. The Budget and Operations series contains budget hearings reports from 1994-1977, College of Technology Development Board. The Event Programs series includes the Provost's Faculty Dinner program for the years 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000 and "Open Classrooms" Salute to Higher Education Week program from 1990. Content in the Policies and Procedures series include Continuity Plan for Extensive Absenteeism, Course and Program Development Handbook, Faculty Information Guide, Intergraded Academic Review & Continuous Improvement Planning Cycle Manual Process Revision, Draft, Program Review Department Manual, Teaching and Research. The Press series contains clippings, news, E-Information Update 1990-1992, and Academic Affairs News 2007-2011. The Special Reports series includes Academic Program Review, Commission on Women and Violence Annual Report, Course Fee Proposal, History of Faculty Hiring Special Report: Female and Minority, History of Faculty Hiring Report Special Report by College Female and Minority, Recommendations of Items for National Recognition, Proposed Strategic Initiative, Provost's Faculty Travel, Start of the Year College Meetings, Year End Report.
