Scope and Contents
EMU Today is a publication on the Eastern Michigan University campus detailing events and activities of interest to faculty, students, staff, and members of the EMU community. Publication began in 1983 with issues produced every day the University was open in the Fall and Winter semesters. Eventually it was produced year-round.
The EMU Today records have been arranged chronologically by year and month from 1983 to 1987, and from 1998 through 2012. The first several years of the publication, EMU Today was only produced during the Fall and Winter semesters; in later years it was produced monthly. Beginning in September of 2012, issues of EMU Today were archived electronically through EMU Digital Commons, and are available online.
