Synopsis and producer
Jerusalem: An Occupation Set in Stone? focuses on the Palestinians of occupied East Jerusalem and the thousands of Palestinians who are denied access to family, friends, and the vital services in the city. These people tell the devastating effects of Israel’s attempt to uproot Palestinian presence from the city and give a personal account of the Palestinian longing for peace and security in their capital, Jerusalem. Jerusalem: An Occupation Set in Stone? Reveals the major strategies by which the Israeli Occupation has, since 1967, denied Palestinians access to their city. It confirms that these repressive measures have increased since the signing of the Declaration of principles between the PLO and Israel in 1993. The film conveys the urgency for a just political solution without which there can be no peace in the “City of Peace.” Produced by the Palestine Housing Rights Movement.
