Doctor of Arts in Communication Arts Proposal
Scope and Contents
The Department of English Language and Literature collection contains information on evaluation, faculty lists, program requirements, clippings, newsletter and the summer institute. The collection is arranged alphabetically and is divided into four series. Records date from 1934 to 2010.
The four series in the collection are: Administration and Curriculum, Proposals and Reports, Publicity and Outreach, and Student Publications. The Administration and Curriculum series has two sub series of English department meeting minutes, and handbooks. The Publicity and Outreach series has three sub series of bulletins, newsletters and summer institute. The Student Publication series includes The Spark published in 1934, and three other compilation publications that came out of the First-year Writing Experience course (ENG121) or to highlight the work of English majors.
