Etched in text reads

"LLOYD OLDS PRESIDENT EMERITUS

FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND ACCOMPLISHMENT OVER MANY YEARS IN PROMOTING THE AIMS AND GOALS OF THE MICHIGAN ASSOCIATION OF THE AMATEUR ATHLETIC UNION. THIS DESIGNATION ENTITLES HIM TO LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP IN THIS ASSOCIATION AND RECOGNIZES HIM AS A MEMBER EMERITUS OF THE BOARD OF MANAGERS.
