The Hockey Club collection contains materials belonging to the Eastern Michigan University Hockey Club, which was established in 1976. Materials include official programs, newspaper clippings, season reviews, and administration papers, including the records officially establishing the club with the Office of Campus Life. The materials are dated from 1976 to 2008.

The Hockey Club records have been divided into four series: Administration, Clippings, Communications, and Team photographs.

The Administration series includes records relevant to the founding and history of the organization. Also included are membership lists, budgeting data, correspondence, and game schedules.

The Clippings series includes newspaper clippings from 1976 to 2008.

The Communications series includes materials published and distributed by the Hockey Club, including official programs, season reviews, pamphlets and flyers, as well as a print-out of its 2006 website.

The Team photographs series includes official team photos from 1988 to 200. These photos have been housed in clear sleeves, two per sleeve, and arranged chronologically. There is also one item, a mounted photograph on a plaque from the 1992-1993 season.
