Scope and Contents
The collection Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity records contains banquet programs, clippings, constitution and by laws, minutes and agendas, photographs and memory books from the Alpha Phi Omega, a Service Fraternity on Eastern Michigan University campus. Records span from 1985 until 2011. The collection is arranged into ten series: Administrative Files, Alumni Relations, Banquet Programs, By laws, Constitution and History, Felix & Book of Babble, Press & Publications, Service Files, Photographs and Objects.
The Administrative Files series contains Address Lists, Campus Life Information, Event Fliers and Information, Correspondence, and Website Information. The Banquet Programs series are limited to 1997 until 2010. The Felix & Babble Book series is the fraternity’s memory books with daily thoughts from members. The Press & Publications series includes clippings, news, and Torch & Trefoil. The Service Files series only contains service files from 1994-2002 and service file directories from 1988-1992. The Photographs series documents the Fraternity in the late 1990s and early 2000s. A medal of service, five t-shirts, and a large fabric pedigree chart of the membership from 1956 to 1991 make up the Objects series.
