Abstract

The Office of Human Resources supports the university community in hiring needs, benefit implentation, compensation, labor relations, diversity and affirmative action, and training and development. The largest function of this office is supporting non-instructional staff, including bargained-for and non-bargained for employees. Lewis E. Profit papers

Abstract Lewis Profit came to Michigan State Normal College from Central Michigan College in 1954. His first position was as the director of McKenny Hall. In 1956, Profit was given the position of Director of Self-Liquidating Projects at the college, which put the men's and women's residence halls, as well as the union, under Profit's direction.
