Michigan State Normal School Civil War Veterans collection
Abstract
The Michigan State Normal School Civil War Veterans collection documents the alumni and students from MSNS who participated in the Civil War. Each individual's folder holds different information ranging from what side of the battle they fought on, which battles they fought in, photographs of the person's grave, records of wounds or death, letters, diaries, and what they did after the war. The date range associated with each name refers to the time period they were in service. The collection is arranged alphabetically. Records date from 1861-1866.
