Robert Packard collection
Abstract
Robert Packard was a student at Michigan State Normal College in the early 1930s. His collection consists of a green wool blanket that was donated by Eastern Michigan University alumni Shirley Hinkle.

Biographical note
Robert Packard of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, was a student at Eastern Michigan University. As a senior in 1934, he played on the baseball team as a catcher and was a member of Pi Delta Pi. Mr. Packard passed away on December 26, 1989 in Ohio.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
The item in the collection is a large wool stadium blanket, green in color with white trim. It has a large Huron logo patch sewn on the center, as well as "Michigan State Normal College" embroidered in large letters. The top right corner is embroidered "Baseball" with three star patches, and the lower left corner is embroidered "Robert Packard."
