Harold PaDelford was a professor of Industrial Education at Eastern Michigan University from 1970. His papers consist primarily of writing and materials related to his philanthropic efforts.

The Harold PaDelford papers have been divided into two series: Writing and Publication and Legacy. The Writing and Publication series includes articles written by PaDelford, along with his thesis and journals of which he was an editor. The Legacy series includes newspaper clippings, awards and certificates, and records of his philanthropic activities in the Ypsilanti community.

Biographical note

Harold Edward PaDelford was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 7, 1925 to Charles and Amelia (Micko) PaDelford. He earned his BS from Mankato State University in Minnestoa, and his MA and PhD were earned at the University of Minnesota. Dr. PaDelford served in the U.S. Navy Aviation program from 1942 to 1945, and then seved in the U.S. National Guard and U.S. Navy Reserve from 1945-1947.

Dr. PaDelford served as a professor of Industrial Education at Eastern Michigan University.
