Eastern Michigan University Banner collection
Abstract
The Eastern Michigan University Banner collection consists of fabric banners used for a variety of purposes on the campus of Eastern Michigan University or in support of the University. Created for the Michigan State Normal College, Eastern Michigan University and the Division of Applied Science. With the exception of the American Flag that was flown with an EMU banner in 1967, it is unknown the specific events that these items were used for, although photographic proof of their use can be seen in the University Photograph collection.
