Student Declaration records
Scope and Contents
The Student Declaration records are composed of cards, arranged alphabetically, that include each student's name, signature certifying their intention to teach in the state of Michigan, their home residence, and church. On the back of each card is a transcript demonstrating their completion of coursework; included is the course title, date, grade, and the initials of the teacher.
The Student Declaration records have been arranged alphabetically by last name, and include the period 1872 to 1880.
