The Budget & Finance reports detail the financial activities and budget planning at Eastern Michigan University.

Materials in the collection dates from 1920 to 2011 and are arranged into four record groups: Expenditures by Account, Memorandum, Press, and Reports.

Expenditures by Account record group includes budget requests and allocations of programs, departments and offices at the Michigan State Normal College. The materials in this record group are arranged alphabetically by the name of the program, department or office and the dates range from 1920-50. The Memorandum record group is the smallest and includes memorandum from the 1990s. The Press record group includes clippings, newsletter, news releases and promotional videos. Materials in these series are arranged chronologically. The reports record group includes 11 series of materials includeing Annual reports, Budget Management report, General Fund Operating reports, and Enrollment reports to name a few. Each series varies in the number of reports most being published in tandem or to support the Annual reports. The aforementioned report is the most comprehensive series which is a complete run of Annual reports starting in 1961 through 2011.
