The Christian Youth Fellowship records documents the activities of an organization that resulted in a joint partnership between the Ypsilanti Baptist and Congregational Churches to coordinate the services and support of college students in 1940. The collection of financial records, meeting minutes, reports and scrapbooks documents the activities of the organization from 1940-1050, with the bulk of documents from the earliest years of the organization. The CYF was an interdenominational student group and was managed by a director funded by the churches and an executive committee consisting of three members from each church to coordinate student activities, primarily those taking place on the campus of the Michigan State Normal College. It is unclear from the records how long the CYF existing on campus, the records from the University Archives only date to 1950.
