Scope and Contents
The Multicultural Center collection contains three series 1. Administration which includes awards, commission on racial and ethic issues, curriculum steering committee, financial transactions, programs and budget and resolutions; 2. Publicity and Outreach, including clippings, correspondence, events, flyers and brochures, news releases and scholarships; 3. Visual Resource Materials, the largest series includes VHS tapes.

Researchers are asked to request materials 24 hours prior to visiting the the University Archives.
Historical note
The Multicultural Center exists to plan and implement educational and cultural programs that improve campus climate and enhance community life at Eastern Michigan University. They offer opportunities for cultural exploration, dialogue, and leadership development that ensure learning experiences for all members of the university community inside and outside of the classroom.
