The Office of Student Affairs records range from the years 1970 to 2010 and are arranged into 2 series: Administrative Files and Press. The Administrative Files series includes the files: Annual Reports, BEST Program Participants Manual, Budget for Higher Education, Budget Requests, Cooperative Study, and International Host Family Program. The Press series includes the files: Brochures, Clippings, Commentator, and Newsletters.

The Office of Student Affairs, now the Division of Academic and Student Affairs, consisted of 13 major departments and hundreds of staff who were committed to providing support to students as well as offering an incredible array of programs and services designed to foster a positive living and learning environment at Eastern Michigan University. Currently led by Provost Kim Schatzel and her leadership team, the Division of Academic and Student Affairs integrates curricular and co-curricular components to improve the academic performance of the students and the quality of academic and non-academic experiences at Eastern Michigan University.
