Selective Service System records
Abstract
The Selective Service System is a government agency that maintains information on those potentially subject to military consciption. The Selective Service System records are composed of College Student Certificates, Draft Board Reports, and correspondence ranging from 1957-1962 for students enrolled at Eastern Michigan College and Eastern Michigan University. These records documents the students who submitted a student deferment until their semesters were completed or upon their graduation.
