Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The Course Proposal records contains information regarding the proposed changes to classes, and the addition and cancellation of courses. The collection documents courses from each of the colleges on Eastern Michigan University's campus. Records date from 1967-2004.

The nine series in the collection are: College of Arts and Sciences, Basic Studies, College of Business, College of Education, College of Health and Human Services, College of Technology, Class Approval, Classes Cancelled and Program and Resource Planning. Within the College of Arts and Sciences series, materials are further divided by department and arranged chronologically. The Basic Studies series also includes committee meeting minutes, correspondence, and course proposals. All other series' materials are organized by graduate and undergraduate level courses when possible, and then arranged chronologically.
