Statistics on Women Students Employed, 1935-1940
Scope and Contents
The Career Planning and Placement Center series dates from, 1911-1981. The series comprises records of an earlier period of the Center and the school. These include events and workshops, manuals, publications, publicity material including newspaper clippings and reports. The directors note contains names and dates of the various Directors of the office. Events and workshops contain information on various events open to the public related to job placement. The manual “Starting Point” documents the early phase of EMU students as they begin orientation and consider career options. Memos document various communication across the Office and across campus. The policy is a simple statement outlining the guiding principles of the office. The reports give a statistical account of the various alumni job placement and subsequent successes. Publicity and Press document various stories centered around the office from 1931-1981, with the bulk of documents covering the last two decades.
