Scope and Contents

From the Series:

The Publications and Writings series contains a variety of both personal and professional writings. Included are notebooks, class notes and class exams from the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia; poetry and short stories published in the Temple University publication Gargoyles; the early writings folder contains hand written manuscripts of short stories and poems; an oral history transcript with Pablita Vilard; and two sub-series for each of her published texts Education Women in the Visual Arts and the Feminist Collage. The materials in the two subseries contains individual folders of correspondence, form letters, clippings, and draft essays for inclusion in the publications. As the editor for each, Loeb was primarily responsible for soliciting participation and corresponding with the contributors. Original order of these materials was maintained in the subseries.
