Phi Gamma Nu collection
Abstract
The Phi Gamma Nu collection contains two scrapbooks that document the groups activities, both professional and social. The Alpa Theta Chapter of Phi Gamma Nu was installed at Eastern Michigan University in 1967. Records date from 1969-1972.

Historical note
Phi Gamma Nu was founded at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois in 1924. The professional organization was founded for women pursuing careers in business. Phi Gamma Nu promotes high scholarship and participation in school activities, and professional advancement of its members. Since being established, Phi Gamma Nu has opened its membership to both men and women.
Phi Gamma Nu installed the Alpha Theta Chapter at Eastern Michigan University in 1967.
