The Margaret Rossiter records contain materials from 1965 to 1987. Biographical / Historical
Margaret L. Rossiter began her career as a Modern European history professor at Eastern Michigan University in 1965. Dr. Rossiter was also the founder of the Women's Studies Program in 1973, where she served as the first chair of EMU's Women's Studies Committee until 1976. After retiring from EMU in 1980, she went on to author a number of journal articles and a book, Women in the Resistance.
