Scope and Contents
The Arab-American Faculty and Staff Association collection includes materials related to the founding of the association. The collection includes agendas and meeting minutes, correspondence, event flyers, newsletters pertaining to Arab concerns, a reading list, membership information, and clippings. While some materials are as recent as 2011, the majority of the collection is from the founding of the associationin 2003 and 2004. Files are arranged in alphabetical order. Given the scope of the association, this collection is not comprehensive.

Biographical / Historical
The Arab-American Faculty and Staff Association is an organization that brings together current and retired Eastern faculty and staff of Arab heritage and their friends. We are committed to providing a forum where issues important to the Arab American experience may be discussed openly. We extend our commitment to students of Arab heritage and their friends, providing support to such students and access to faculty/staff whom they may contact for assistance.-- The Arab-American Faculty and Staff Association Mission Statement
