Born Rashko Stoyan Gerganoff January 19, 1887 in Kereka, Bulgaria, Ralph S. Gerganoff immigrated to the United States in October, 1905. Receiving a degree in architecture from the University of Michigan in 1917, Gerganoff established his own firm in 1925, and lived in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The Trailblazer Club was devoted to rural education, while the Collegiate Country Life Club was for students interested in rural life and in rural school teaching.
