Student Government records
Student Handbooks
The Eastern Michigan University Student Handbooks have been arranged chronologically from 1893 through 2003, although not every academic year is included in that range. The handbooks were prepared by the Dean of Students Office with the participation of the Student Senate.
Student Media Board minutes
The Student Media Board Minutes detail the activities and decision of the Eastern Michgian University Student Media Board, which oversees campus publications and media productions.
Student Papers collection
The Student Papers collection contains several essays and addresses written by students attending Michigan State Normal School. The authors of the works are unknown for half of the collection. The Junior Salutatory Address was written by Bertha Blair. The Salutatory was written by Janette Briggs. The collection is arranged alphabetically. Records date 1853-1893.
Student Planners
The Eastern Michigan University Student Planners were produced by the Department of Student Media in order to support undergraduate students. Planners included information such as campus maps, academic calendars, campus phone numbers, and academic survival guides.
Student Profiles
The Student Profiles were produced in order to profile enrolled students at Eastern Michigan University. Recorded data included age, race, sex, geographic origin, majors and curriculum, class levels, test scores, and high school grade point averages. It also included comparisons between transfer students, full-time and part-time students, and day and evening enrollments.
Student Publications collection
The Student Publications collection contains information pertaining to various student publication groups. The collection includes pamphlets and booklets written by students, articles from student newspapers, and Eastern Michigan University sponsored student life booklets. The remaining material covers the internal affairs of the student groups behind the publications, including bylaws, correspondence, budget request, and meeting minutes.
Student Registration records
The Student Registration records contain hand-written registration index cards filled out by new and returning students at Michigan State Normal College from 1900 to 1919. The cards are arranged alphabetically by last name and include such information as the date of registration, the students' hometown, birth date, names of parents, and names of high schools and churches attended.

Subject File Photograph collection
This collection includes photographic materials organized to reflect the subjects found in the Subject Vertical Files. Photographic formats include black-and-white prints, color prints, Polaroid prints, color slides, black and white negatives, color negatives, stereoscopes, postcard prints, and floor plans. Prints likely date from 1870-2012 with the bulk of materials dating between 1915 and 2009.
