Chemistry Department records
The Chemistry Department records include documents pertaining to the teaching of chemistry at Michigan State Normal College from 1900 to departmental details at Eastern Michigan Univeristy until 2014. The collection includes marketing tools, curriculum details, and other materials relevant to the study of chemistry. This is valuable to the study of program evolution in chemistry at EMU.
Conservatory of Music photographic collection
The Conservatory of Music photographic collection includes scrapbooks that documents the activities and events of the Conservatory using clippings, flyers and concert programs as well as composites. Records date from 1892-1936.

The collection contains proposals, curriculum changes, marketing tools, and other materials relevant to the department. This collection is valuable to the study of the expansion of the Department of Economics.

Department of Geography and Geology records
The Department of Geography and Geology records include materials from the Department at Eastern Michigan University from 1896 until 2016, with the bulk of materials dating from the 1990s to the mid 2010s. The collection contains documents concerning academic programs, administrative files, curriculum, press, and other relevant materials. It is particularly useful to the study of the department from 1995 to 2016, and for insight into administrative functions.
Department of Geography and Geology slide collection
The Department of Geography and Geology slide collection contains a series of slides used in the course of teaching. Originally housed in a metal projection case, the slides were removed to maintain their original order and boxed into 6 boxes. Boxes 4-6 are unidentifed and include a variety of landscapes, primarily in Europe. It is unclear who was responsible for capturing the images, labeling the images, or using them in class. They are primarily undated, 35mm color slides.
