Abstract

The University Photograph files is the photographic record of the Michigan State Normal School, Michigan State Normal College, Eastern Michigan College and Eastern Michigan University. Although additional photographs reside in other collections, these subject files were compiled from photographs from the official university photographer, alumni, Aurora and the Normal News and Eastern Echo. The collection is organized into 6 topical groups and then alphabetically. They include: Athletics, Class Composites, Departments and Programs, Events on Campus, People on Campus--Staff and Students, Student Groups, and Residence Halls.

Researchers are asked to request materials 24 hours prior to visiting the the University Archives.
