Sigma Sigma Sigma (Tri-Sigma) Sorority collection
The Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority, Omicron Chapter started as a local sorority at the Michigan State Normal College when the Alpha Beta Sigma Sorority began in 1912. In January, 1917 this local sorority joined the national Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority and is often referred to as Tri-Sig. The Sigma Sigma Sigma (Tri-Sigma) Sorority collection contains consitutions and bylaws; membership information; flyers and news clippings; and a pledge paddle from the 1960s. It is not a very complete or comprehensive collection given that it is one of the oldest sororities on campus.
