Abstract

The Business Wives records include newsletters, membership lists, and event plans of the group from 1971-1979. The Business Wives were a society of women bonded by marriage to Eastern Michigan University's College of Business faculty. This record is valuable to the study of women's social groups in the 1970s.

Administrative History Note

The Business Wives, formed in 1971, was a society of women for wives of College of Business faculty at Eastern Michigan University. The group met monthly, and their publication was The Biz Buz. The group dissolved in 1979.
