The Carl Roland Anderson papers documents Anderson's time at Eastern Michigan University from 1947 - 1968. The collection is organized as it was given to University Archives. The collection contains materials including Anderson's personal papers, as well as information concerning educational training and field services. Of particular note is a collection of ledgers dating from 1882 - 1956 which were donated to University Archives by Anderson.

The Michigan State Normal College Stereograph collection is composed of stereographic cards that were distributed to Ypsilanti area high schools in order to illustrate the MSNC campus, facilities, and student life. Although none of the stereographs is dated, a short letter from MSNC President Charles McKenny was included with each set, which would date the collection to approx. 1912-1933.

The Student Declaration records are composed of cards, arranged alphabetically, that include each student's name, signature certifying their intention to teach in the state of Michigan, their home residence, and church.
