John M. Munson was the thirteenth president of Michigan State Normal College, serving from 1933 through 1948. The John M. Munson papers include both personal materials, as well as files from the Office of the President, from approximately 1904 through 1950.

Newspaper clippings, correspondence, and reports related to the murder of student Laura Dickinson in 2006, the trials and conviction of Orange Taylor, and the resulting scandal over the university's failure to disclose in a timely fashion that Dickinson was murdered which cost several top administrators their jobs, including President John Fallon, Vice President for Student Affairs James Vick, and Director of Public Safety Cindy Hall.

The L. Sandy MacLean papers are organized into two series. The first documents MacLean’s role at Eastern Michigan University as the Dean of Students from 1970 to 1976, and consists of administrative, financial, and minutes subseries. The second series details MacLean’s activities as Associate Vice President of Student Affairs from 1977 to 1981, and is comprised of administrative, financial, and conference subseries.
Michael Harris papers
Dr. Michael Harris was Associate Provost at Eastern Michigan University, as well as a professor of political science specializing in public policy and administration. In 1994, Dr. Harris became a professor at EMU, and in 2000 was appointed Associate Provost. In 2004 Dr. Harris left EMU to accept the position of Vice President for Academic Affairs at Ferris State University.
