Abstract Pi Omega Pi Society was founded in on June 13, 1923 at Northeast Missouri State Teachers College in Kirksville, Missouri. The society exists to create, encourage, promote and extend interest in scholarship and to promote high ethical standards in business and professional life. The Carl Roland Anderson papers documents Anderson's time at Eastern Michigan University from 1947 - 1968. The collection is organized as it was given to University Archives. The collection contains materials including Anderson's personal papers, as well as information concerning educational training and field services. Of particular note is a collection of ledgers dating from 1882 - 1956 which were donated to University Archives by Anderson.
