Dr. Michael Harris was Associate Provost at Eastern Michigan University, as well as a professor of political science specializing in public policy and administration. In 1994, Dr. Harris became a professor at EMU, and in 2000 was appointed Associate Provost. The Michigan Seal with Personal Note contains a framed, embosed Michigan State Seal. The seal has a short description beneath it, as well as a personal note. The ink has faded considerably, but it seems the seal was a welcome gift to a new facutly or staff member at Eastern Michigan University.
